In the days before your appointment, we ask that you pause the use of blood thinners, alcohol, and anti-inflammatory medications to reduce the likelihood of bruising. Let your provider know about any medications, supplements, or prior injectable treatments you have received.
The Treatment Process
Sculptra is prepared by reconstituting the PLLA powder with sterile water, which is done well in advance to ensure proper dilution. On treatment day, the area will be cleansed and a topical anesthetic applied for your comfort. Your provider will use a fine needle or cannula to deposit Sculptra into the deep tissue of the targeted areas. Because Sculptra is working beneath the skin to stimulate collagen rather than sitting on top of tissue, the injection technique and placement are highly specialized. Immediate Aftercare

One of the hallmarks of Sculptra aftercare is the 5-5-5 massage rule: massage the treated areas for five minutes, five times per day, for five days after each session.
