How It Works
Our FDA-cleared laser targets the pigment in hair follicles, heating them to disable future growth. Hair grows in cycles, so multiple sessions are needed to catch each follicle in its active growth phase. Over a series of treatments, you’ll see permanent hair reduction and skin that feels soft and smooth.
Before Treatment
Shave the treatment area the night before (don't wax or pluck). Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to your session. Come with clean skin, no lotions, makeup, or deodorant on the treatment area.
During Treatment
Sessions are quick, typically lasting 15-45 minutes depending on the area. You'll feel a mild snapping sensation, and we use cooling technology to keep treatments comfortable. Most people find it very tolerable.
After Treatment
There's no downtime, you can return to normal activities immediately. You may experience temporary redness or mild swelling that resolves within hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and exercise for 24 hours. Use gentle skincare and SPF to protect treated skin.
FAQ
How many sessions do I need?
Most clients need 6-8 sessions spaced 4-8 weeks apart. Hormonal areas (face, underarms, bikini) may require 8-10 sessions. Touch-ups help maintain results long-term.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a mild snapping sensation. We use contact cooling technology to keep treatments comfortable. It’s far less painful than waxing.
Is it safe for all skin types?
Yes. Our FDA-cleared laser safely treats all skin tones, from fair to deep. However, laser hair removal works best on dark hair. Light blonde, grey, red, or white hair doesn’t respond well because the laser targets pigment.
Is there any downtime?
None. You may experience temporary redness or mild swelling for a few hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and exercise for 24 hours to protect treated skin and maximize results.
When will I see results?
You’ll notice reduced hair growth after a few sessions. Hair becomes finer and grows back more slowly. Full, long-lasting results appear after completing your series.
Is it permanent?
Laser hair removal provides permanent hair reduction, most clients see an 80-90% reduction. The hair that does grow back is finer, lighter, and easier to manage. Occasional touch-ups maintain results.
Can I shave between sessions?
Yes. Shaving is encouraged. Do not wax, pluck, or use hair removal creams between sessions, these remove the hair follicle that the laser needs to target.
What if I have a tan?
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before and after treatment. Tanned skin increases the risk of side effects and reduces treatment effectiveness.
